1,400 Lose Power in PV

More than 1,400 customers in Prescott Valley were without power for much of Tuesday afternoon. A major powerline disruption cut off electricity to homes and businesses in the areas of Robert Road, Prescott East Highway, and Long Look Drive. The outage also resulted in limited service at the town civic center and forced the closure of the Prescott Valley Public Library. Most customers had their power restored by 7 p.m.
