30 Acre Wildfire Breaks Out in Paulden
2/21/23
Even though the drought is over in Yavapai County, the danger of a wildfire is still present. That was evident Monday when units from the Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority were called out to Paulden. A resident there had been burning weeds when a gust of wind whipped up the flames. The resident tried to stop the fire by using a garden hose, but the blaze spread quickly. The wildfire grew to 30 acres in size before CAFMA personnel brought it under control. No one was injured and no structures were damaged or destroyed by the wildfire. CAFMA officials urge everyone to take precautions before, during, and after any burning you do on your property.
