A Damp and Snowy Thursday for Yavapai County

Rain, snow, and sleet swept through Yavapai County Thursday. According to the County Flood Control District, Bagdad and Cordes Junction both received more than a quarter-inch of precipitation. Outer Loop Road and Lake Montezuma both got 0.16 inches. Mingus Mountain, Granite Basin, and Big Bug Mesa all had 0.12 inches. Sedona received 0.08 inches, and Prescott Heights, Thumb Butte, Williamson Valley, White Spar Campground, Mayer, Cottonwood, Camp Verde, and Black Canyon City all got 0.04 inches of precipitation. Expect a much drier day today for the Prescott area with sunny skies, but rain is forecast through the first half of next week.
