A Rainy Week for Yavapai County

The return of the Monsoon, combined with moisture from Tropical Storm Kay, resulted in a very wet week for Yavapai County. According to the County Flood Control District, over the past seven days, Bagdad has received 2.80 inches of rain. Downtown Prescott has gotten 1.69 inches. Sedona has had 1.61 inches. Chino Valley has received 1.38 inches. Cordes Junction has gotten 1.10 inches. Camp Verde has had 0.91 inches. Prescott Valley received more than three-quarters of an inch of rain. Mayer has gotten more than half-an-inch of rain, and Cottonwood has had 0.35 inches of rain over the past week. No rain is in the forecast for the remainder of this week, but the Monsoon could start up again next week.
