ADOT to Begin Highway Repairs in Northern AZ

6/7/23

Many highways around Northern Arizona suffered damage from the severe storms the state experienced over the winter. Soon, ADOT crews will be out in force to repair that damage. Starting July 5th, work will take place on eastbound I-40 from from Seligman to U.S. 93. Another improvement project on I-40 between Seligman and Ash Fork is scheduled for later this summer. Repair work on I-17 is scheduled to begin August 1st. Crews will be working on the several sections between Sunset Point and Highway 179. Repairs will also be made to parts of Highway 260, I-10, U.S. 60, and Highway 77. ADOT officials say work on each highway corridor will take two to four weeks to complete. The state is spending over 50 million dollars to make these critical repairs.
