Veterans Day is three months away, but the City of Prescott is already accepting entries for the parade. This year’s theme is honoring the veterans of Operation Desert Storm, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation Enduring Freedom. The city will give out first place awards in seven different categories; non-profit groups, fraternal organizations, motorized groups, music, marching units, business, and hospital entries by veterans. Applications for the 2023 Veterans Day parade must be turned in by October 23rd. There is no fee to participate in the parade.
