Asphalt Replacement Project for Highway 89A
8/14/23
An asphalt replacement project is planned for Highway 89A near Glassford Hill Road from August 15th through the 25th. ADOT is urging motorists to allow for extra travel time as lane restrictions will be in place from 4 a.m. to 3 p.m. (northbound) and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. (southbound) weekdays.
North- and southbound ramps on SR89A from SR89 will be closed on Tuesday, August 15th. Please use Larry Caldwell Road to access SR89.
Expect delays on access ramps for up to 15 minutes. Please use alternative routes.
During construction, Highway 89A will be narrowed to one lane in each direction between the junction with 89 and Glassford Hill Road (mileposts 317-323).
Law enforcement officers will be onsite to navigate drivers through the area.
There will be a 14-foot vehicle width restriction, and the speed limit will be reduced to 45 mph in the work zone.
