Brushfire Breaks Out in PV
5/1/23
Units from the Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority rolled on a small brushfire over the weekend. It occurred in a vacant lot at the intersection of Florentine and Mendocino in Prescott Valley. Firefighters contained the blaze to a half-acre, but a phone/cable utility box was damaged by the flames. CAFMA officials say the fire was started by someone burning weeds with a propane torch. Everyone is reminded that it is illegal to use propane torches to burn weeds or any other vegetation.
