Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority has a new fire marshal. Darrell Tirpak has been hired for the position. He replaces Rick Chase, who retired in January. Tirpak has 23 years of experience in fire service. He previously served as fire marshal for the City of El Mirage. One of his accomplishments was revamping that city’s emergency operations plan. Tirpak also served as a fire captain and fire inspector for the U.S. Air Force.
