CAFMA Sends Personnel to Wilbur Fire
Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority is lending a hand to the firefighters working the Wilbur Fire on the Coconino National Forest. CAFMA contributed some of its fireline medics to the operation. They will provide emergency medical services to firefighters should that need arise. The Wilbur Fire is located near Happy Jack and has burned nearly 200 acres of land. Eighty personnel are assigned to the fire, which began on May 21st from a lightning strike. The wildfire, which is burning in rugged terrain, is zero percent contained.
