The City of Prescott has a new Community Development Director. Interim-Director Chelsea Walton was named to the position by Prescott City Manager Katie Gregory Thursday. Walton has worked with the City of Prescott since 2018.

In her new role, Walton will continue to oversee the activities of the Community Development Department, including all departmental operations, projects, and programs. This includes community planning, long range planning, case review, historic preservation, plan review, building permitting, and inspections.

Walton has served as Interim Community Development Director since February of this year.
