CHINO VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL AND HERITAGE MIDDLE SCHOOL SEEKS NEW PRINCIPALS

The Chino Valley Unified School District Interview Committee has a list of applicants for the principal positions at both Heritage Middle School and Chino Valley High School that needs to be filled.

The public will have an opportunity to interact with the candidates at the Community Meet-and-Greet meetings on Wednesday February 22, at Chino Valley High School, and on Thursday February 23, HERITAGE Middle SCHOOL. Both meetings will be held at 6:00 pm in the libraries of each school.

The candidates for the CVHS Principal are Justine Crawford, who currently serves as the Assistant Principal of Durango High School in Las Vegas NV. Chris Guglielmo, Principal of Lewistown Public Schools in Lewistown, MT, Tom Oppelt, Principal at Mayer High School in Mayer AZ, and Brian Pereira, who currently is the Assistant Principal at CVHS.

The Interview Committee will conduct final interviews with the candidates on the 22nd and 23rd of february, with each CANDIDATE interviewing with CVUSD   <more> Superintendent John Scholl following the committee interviews. Scholl plans to give his recommendations to the CVUSD Governing Board at the Board Meeting on March 6, at 5:00 pm.

The search for both positions began when Heritage Middle School principal Julie Bryce announced her retirement and Chino valley High School principal Heidi Wolf announced that she accepted the position of CVUSD Human Resource Director. Both announcements were made in January and will become effective June 30, 2023.
