Construction Work on Highway 89A Through January

ADOT crews have begun a daytime construction project on Highway 89A north of Prescott Valley. Drivers are urged to be aware of ongoing daytime lane restrictions  from 6 a.m. To 4 p.m.  Mondays through Fridays through January 2023.

Highway 89A at Shiloh Road between Mingus West and south of Legend Hills is narrowed intermittently to one lane only of alternating north and southbound travel. Flaggers are assisting with traffic control during certain phases of the work and, at other times, a temporary traffic signal will be activated in the work zone. A 10-foot lane width restriction is in place around the clock. The restrictions are needed so crews can construct a new turn lane and make shoulder improvements to the roadway.
