CV Gets Grant for Water Demand Study
The Town of Chino Valley is getting money to help complete its water demand rate study. The amount of the federal grant is $44,000. The study will help the town develop new rate structures that could reduce or in some cases eliminate the demand for water consumed outdoors. At present, between 50 and 60-percent of all water demands in Chino Valley are for outdoor use. Chino Valley is one of only three municipalities in Arizona to be awarded funding for a water demand rate study.
