
CVUSD SUPERINTENDENT JOHN SCHOLL ANNOUNCES RETIREMENT

Another local school superintendent announced his retirement. During the November 13, 2023, Chino Valley Unified School District Board Meeting Superintendent John Scholl announced he is stepping down as superintendent effective June 30, 2024, completing 27 years with the CVUSD, the past eight years as superintendent.
CVUSD Board President Cyndi Thomas said it has “Been an honor and privilege” working with Scholl. “Throughout his tenure, Superintendent Scholl has demonstrated unwavering dedication and commitment to our district providing exceptional leadership.”
Thomas added, “(He) will be greatly missed, however, we are grateful his legacy leaves the district in an excellent position to continue and build upon his accomplishments under new leadership.”
The CVUSD Governing Board will address the superintendent opening in an upcoming Special Board Meeting on Monday, November 27, 2023, at 5:00 pm in the CVUSD Board Room at 650 E Center St. The meeting will open with an executive session to follow the public meeting.
