Yavapai County residents will notice a slight drop in some of their tax rates. At a special meeting Monday, the County Board of Supervisors approved the primary and secondary tax rates for the new fiscal year. The general tax rate for Yavapai County and the Free Library District both decreased by four-percent. There was also a five-percent decrease in the tax rate for the County Flood Control District.
