Don't Succumb to the Heat This Week
7/11/23
With temperatures expected to reach 100 degrees in the Prescott area this weekend, officials with the Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority are urging everyone to be safe in the extreme heat. First, limit your outdoor activities to the early morning and early evening hours. If your job requires you to work outside, take breaks in the shade as often as possible. Never leave children or pets unattended in a car. Be sure to check in on elderly neighbors or those who do not have air conditioning. Above all, drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.
