Drought Conditions Creeping Back into Arizona
It’s getting drier and drier in Arizona. According to the U.S. Drought Monitor, Maricopa County, Southeastern Arizona, and much of Western Arizona are all listed as abnormally dry. Here in Yavapai County, however, no drought conditions are being reported. Still, the fire danger in the Prescott National Forest is very high. With two wildfires burning in the Tri-City area, everyone needs to exercise caution with anything that can produce and flame or a spark.
