Drought Conditions Improve for Yavapai County

Drough conditions have gotten better in some parts of Yavapai County. According to the U.S. Drought Monitor, there is no drought in the Prescott, Cottonwood, and Sedona areas. A small part of northwestern Yavapai County is in moderate drought, and the rest of the county is abnormally dry. Most of the state is either abnormally dry or reporting no drought conditions. Because of the current drought situation in Yavapai County, the fire danger in the Prescott National Forest remains low.
