Drought Conditions Unchanged for Yavapai County

Drought conditions remain the same for Yavapai County. According to the U.S. Drought Monitor, just like last week most of the county is abnormally dry, with the southeastern corner of the county– including Black Canyon City -- and the northwestern corner of the county -- including Seligman -- in moderate drought. Three-quarters of the state is either in moderate drought or abnormally dry. Because of the current drought conditions in Yavapai County, the fire danger in the Prescott National Forest is low.
