Drought Easing in Arizona


All the recent rain we’ve received has made for non-existent drought conditions in Yavapai County. In fact, the latest map from the U.S. Drought Monitor shows more than three-quarters of the state is drought free, with moderate drought or abnormally dry conditions in parts of western Arizona. As a result, the fire danger in the Prescott National Forest remains low.
