ERAU Helps Combat Elephant Poaching
12/2/22
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is getting involved in efforts to stop elephant poaching. Thanks to a gift from 2011 Riddle graduate Dom Narducci and his wife, Heather Lockilear, a team of researchers at the Prescott Campus are using surviellance technologies, including drones, to provide real-time data to help locate any poachers in Southern Africa. The group is working in conjunction with the organization Elephants, Rhinos, and People – or ERP - on this project.
