Ernest A. Love Sculpture Proposed for Prescott

3/8/23

The man whom the Prescott Regional Airport is named after could have his own sculpture. At its meeting Thursday, the Prescott Art in Public Places Committee considers the creation of a sculpture of Ernest A. Love. He was a World War I pilot raised in Prescott who was shot down over Verdun, France in 1918. The airport was named in his honor in 1928. The meeting starts at 3:30 p.m. in the lower level conference room of city hall at 201 South Cortez Street.
