Fire Academy Graduates 17

12/15/22

Seventeen new firefighters have come out of Yavapai College. They graduated from the Central Arizona Regional Training Academy on the Prescott Valley campus last Saturday. Officials with YC say this is one of the youngest graduating classes from the academy, with the youngest grads teenage high school students and the oldest 24 years of age. In his keynote address to the graduates, Prescott Fire Chief Holger Durre said, “In this career, you’re going to be witness to some of the most tremendous human suffering that you can ever imagine, but together as a group, you’re also going to be witness to some of the greatest triumphs.”
