A fire broke out in the kitchen of the Golden Corral restaurant at Prescott's Frontier Village Monday morning. Units from the Prescott Fire Department responded to the scene after 7 a.m. The sprinkler system at the restaurant kept the flames in check until firefighters arrived. The fire did not spread beyond the kitchen. All employees safely evacuated the Golden Corral and no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is not known at this time.
