Firefighters Battle Another Wildfire in CV
11/14/22
Another wildfire broke out in Chino Valley. Units from the Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority were called to the area of Perkinsville Road Saturday. When they arrived, they came upon a wildfire that grew to 30 acres in size. Firefighters managed to get the blaze under control quickly. CAFMA officials report the wildfire was likely caused by people target shooting. They add that even though there are no fire restrictions in effect in Yavapai County, everyone is urged to practice fire safety. In addition to CAFMA, units from the Prescott National Forest and the Department of Forestry and Fire Management also responded to the wildfire.
