It’s getting warmer in the Prescott area, and that means it’s more important than ever to stay hydrated. While you should drink plenty of water, there are also many foods that will help you keep hydrated. Nutrition experts say cucumbers are made up of 95-percent water. Other foods that are a good source of hydration are tomatoes, celery, honeydew melons, radishes, peaches, and zucchini. Along with keeping you hydrated, these foods also have important nutrients. Nutrition experts say drinking alcohol and beverages with caffeine like coffee and energy drinks will not keep you hydrated as they can remove liquids from your body quicker than other drinks.
