The Prescott Valley Police Department is offering free child car seat safety checks. Members of the department will be in the Kohl’s parking lot on Glassford Hill Road Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. to make sure your child safety seat is installed properly and is not damaged. If a seat is broken or expired, Prescott Valley police will replace it. Each car seat check is estimated to take 20 to 30 minutes.
