A fee free day in the Prescott National Forest for Prescott area residents and visitors is set for President's Day Holiday.

Prescott National Forest will waive fees Monday, February 20TH in honor of The President's Day Holiday.  The fee free day does not apply to reserved groups and overnight camping.

the following sites in the Prescott National Forest where fees have been waived are Lynx Lake Recreation Area, Granite Basin Recreation Area, Thumb Butte Recreation Area, Alto Pit OHV Area – day use site, Hayfield Draw OHV Recreation Area  and The Groome Creek Nature Trail.

fee-free days are an opportuntiy to connect more americans with their public lands. The next fee free day is  national get outdoors day on June 10th .
