Gas Prices Rise for Memorial Day Holiday

The Memorial Day holiday is bringing with it higher fuel prices. According to AAA Arizona, the national average for a gallon of unleaded regular rose four cents from last week to $3.57. In Arizona, the state average is well above the national average at $4.51 a gallon. That is down 13 cents from a week ago. The most expensive gas is in Maricopa County at $4.83 a gallon, while the cheapest gas in Arizona is in Graham County at $3.35 a gallon. Here in Yavapai County, the average price for a gallon of unleaded regular is $4.21, down three cents from last week.
