The Grapevine Fire is 100-percent contained. That’s the word from Prescott National Forest officials. The lightning-caused wildfire has been burning on Mingus Mountain since July 21st. Even though the wildfire is fully contained, firefighters will remain in the area for the next several weeks to monitor the containment lines. The Grapevine Fire burned 1,049 acres. National Forest officials want to remind everyone that the forest is under stage one fire restrictions. That means cooking fires, campfires, and stove fires are prohibited outside structures provided by the national forest.
