Highway 69 Improvements Underway
A major road improvement project has begun along Highway 69 in Prescott Valley. ADOT crews are replacing three miles of pavement on the highway between Truwood Drive and Stoneridge Drive. Along with replacing the top layer of pavement, crews will also update sidewalk ramps and replace damaged sidewalk segments. In order to reduce the impact to motorists, work will take place at night from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday through Friday. At least one lane of traffic will stay open during paving operations, and ADOT will maintain access to all businesses in the construction zone. All work should be finished in the fall. The cost of the project is four million dollars.
