When will the monsoon rains come to Yavapai County? It might not be for a while. The National WeatherSservice reports they do not see the traditional monsoon pattern forming anytime over the next couple of weeks. This will likely result in a hotter and drier July than usual for Northern Arizona. As a result, expect the fire danger in our area to rise during this month. Everyone is urged to be extra cautious with anything that can produce a flame or a spark. The current fire danger in the Prescott National Forest is very high.
