Lots of Rain For Yavapai County

Yavapai County got soaked Wednesday. According to the County Flood Control District, Outer Loop Road received well over an inch-and-a-half of rain. Chino Valley got 1.18 inches. White Spar Campground had just under an inch of rain. Mayer and Cordes Junction both received 0.94 inches. Downtown Prescott and Goldwater Lake both got 0.87 inches. Watson Lake and Lynx Lake both had 0.83 inches. Fain Lake received three-quarters of an inch of rain. Willow Lake got just under three-quarters of an inch of rain. Thumb Butte, Prescott Heights, and Camp Verde all had 0.67 inches. Prescott Valley received 0.59 inches. Prescott Country Club got 0.43 inches, and Cottonwood had 0.39 inches of rain. Another wet one is on tap for the Prescott area today as the National Weather Service is calling for a 50-percent chance of thunderstorms.
