Lots of Rain for Yavapai County Last Week

Yavapai County got a sneak peek of the monsoon last week as rain fell nearly every day. Data from the County Flood Control District shows over the last seven days, Chino Valley received nearly two-and-a-half inches of rain. Prescott Valley got just over an inch of rain, and Downtown Prescott had 0.71 inches of rain. Elsewhere in the county, Prescott Gateway Mall received 2.72 inches of rain over the past seven days. Prescott Country Club got 1.18 inches. Cottonwood had 0.91 inches. Cordes Junction received 0.83 inches. Williamson Valley got three-quarters of an inch of rain last week, and Mayer and Camp Verde both had 0.71 inches of rain.
