Yavapai County got soaked Wednesday. According to the County Flood Control District, Thumb Butte received 0.79 inches of rain. Williamson Valley and Granite Basin both got over a half-inch of rain. Prescott Heights had 0.43 inches. Kirkland received 0.31 inches. White Spar Campground got 0.28 inches. Outer Loop Road and Big Bug Creek had under a quarter-inch of rain. Prescott Mile High Middle School and Mayer both received 0.20 inches. Mingus Mountain and Cordes Junction both got 0.12 inches. Prescott Gateway Mall, Willow Lake, Goldwater Lake, Cottonwood, and Camp Verde all had 0.08 inches, and Fain Lake and Bagdad both received 0.04 inches of rain. More rain is expected today  in the Prescott area as the National Weather Service is calling for a 40-percent chance of thunderstorms.
