Monsoon is Over, But More Rain is Coming

The Monsoon may have officially ended last Friday, but that doesn’t mean we have seen an end to thunderstorms. The National Weather Service is forecasting rain all week for the Prescott area. Though the chance for rain is between 20 and 30-percent through Saturday. On Sunday, that chance goes up to 40-percent. It’s already been one wet year for the Tri-City area, with downtown Prescott receiving almost 16 inches of precipitation since the beginning of 2022. Prescott Valley has gotten 12.17 inches of rain so far this year, while Chino Valley has had 11.82 inches.
