More Details on Fatal Rimrock Shooting

More details have emerged regarding last Saturday’s deadly shooting at a party in Rimrock. According to the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office, an altercation occurred at the party prompting Camp Verde resident Rafael Zapata to leave with his companions. Other partygoers surrounded Zapata’s car and broke out a window. Zapata pulled out a gun and shot and killed Efrain Ruiz-Arreola. Then Edgar Arreola produced a gun and shot Zapata. Sheriff’s Office officials say even though Zapata was incapacitated, Arreola shot him again, killing him. Arreola is charged with first degree murder.
