No Change in Yavapai County Drought Conditions

No change in Yavapai County’s drought conditions from last week. According to the U.S. Drought Monitor, three quarters of the county is abnormally dry, with the northwestern part of the county -- including Seligman -- in moderate drought. The vast majority of the state is either in moderate drought or abnormally dry. Because of the current drought conditions in Yavapai County, the fire danger in the Prescott National Forest is low.
