The Pilot Fire near the Mohave/Yavapai County border continues to grow. The wildfire is now 5,000 acres in size. It began July 1st 20 miles east of the community of Wikieup. There is zero percent containment of the fire, which is burning in rugged and remote terrain. Fire crews are monitoring the Pilot Fire, the cause of which is not known.
