Plenty of Rain So Far This Year for Tri-City Area

The Monsoon has taken a break in Northern Arizona, but it left behind a lot of rain in its wake. Looking at the year-to-date rain totals from the Yavapai County Flood Control District, Lynx Lake has received more than 17 inches of rain. Mingus Mountain has gotten 16.34 inches of rain since the start of 2022. Goldwater Lake has received nearly 14-and-a-half inches of rain. Downtown Prescott has gotten nearly 12-and three-quarters inches of rain. Prescott Valley has seen 10.39 inches of rain so far this year. Chino Valley has exceeded eight-and-a-half inches of rain. Mayer has gotten just under eight inches. Willow Lake has gotten just under seven inches of rain, and Watson Lake has received has received little over six-and-a-quarter inches of rain. The Monsoon is expected to return by the end of the week.
