If you stay at Prescott’s Hassayampa Inn, you may have to share your room with an unexpected guest . . . A ghost. Just in time for halloween, Historic Hotels of America released its list of the most haunted hotels in the United States. The Hassayampa Inn made the list. According to reports, much of the paranormal activity is attributed to the ghost of a woman named Faith, who passed away at the hotel in 1927 when her husband left to get cigarettes and never returned. Guests and staff have experienced loud knocking, the smell of flowers, and cold spots. A recent guest claimed he awoke one morning to the sensation of someone hugging him, but no one else was in the room.
