Prescott Area U.S. Rep Crane Calls for Diplomacy in Russia/Ukraine War

Prescott area Congressman Eli Crane is among a group of U.S. Representatives and Senators urging for a negotiated end to the war between Russia and Ukraine. Crane and Senator Mike Lee of Utah sent a letter to President Joe Biden expressing concern about America’s response to the conflict, stating, “Unrestrained U.S. aid for Ukraine must come to an end, and we will adamantly oppose all future aid packages unless they are linked to a clear diplomatic strategy designed to bring this war to a rapid conclusion.” Several other Republican representatives and senators also signed the letter, including former Prescott area Congressman Paul Gosar, who now represents Arizona’s 9th District.
