You can find out where the Prescott City Council candidates stand on the issues. The Prescott Chamber of Commerce and Yavapai County Contractors Association are putting on a candidate forum. It takes place Wednesday, July 12th, at the Rowle P. Simmons Adult Center on East Rosser St. from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. This year’s candidates are Mayor Phil Goode, who is running unopposed, incumbent city council members Cathey Rusing and Connie Cantelme, and council candidates Tony Hamer, Chad DeVries, Lois Fruhwirth, and Ted Gambogi. The city’s primary election is scheduled for August 1st.
