Prescott National Forest Lifts Fire Restrictions
No more fire restrictions in the Prescott National Forest. Officials with the Forest Service announced Stage One fire restrictions will be lifted at 6 a.m. Saturday. They say the forest has received enough rain to decrease the fire danger. The move comes after the Coconino and Kaibab National Forests rescinded their fire restrictions earlier in the week. While Stage One fire restrictions are coming to an end, Forest Service officials still want everyone to be careful in the Prescott National Forest. Be sure your campfire is completely out before you leave, and do not toss cigarette butts on the ground.
