PRESCOTT VALLEY LIBRARY HOLDS THAI CHI CLASSES

THE PRESCOTT VALLEY PUBLIC LIBRARY WILL BE HOSTING A 4-WEEK SERIES OF TAI CHI CLASSES ON WEDNESDAYS BEGINNING MAY 10TH. 


TAI CHI IS A SERIES OF GENTLE PHYSICAL EXERCISES AND STRETCHES. EACH POSTURE FLOWS INTO THE NEXT WITHOUT PAUSE, ENSURING THAT YOUR BODY IS IN CONSTANT MOTION. IT IS SOMETIMES DESCRIBED AS MEDITATION IN MOTION BECAUSE IT PROMOTES SERENITY THROUGH GENTLE MOVEMENTS, CONNECTING THE MIND AND BODY. TAI CHI HAS BEEN SHOWN TO IMPROVE BALANCE AND FLEXIBILITY, RELIEVE PAIN, BUILD CONFIDENCE, AND IMPROVE QUALITY OF LIFE.  


ATTENDANCE IS REQUIRED FOR THE FIRST CLASS. CLASSES ARE EVERY WEDNESDAY FOR 4-WEEKS ON THE 3RD FLOOR CRYSTAL ROOM OF THE PRESCOTT VALLEY PUBLIC LIBRARY BETWEEN 10:00 A.M. AND 11:00 A.M. BEGINNING MAY 10TH.
