The Glassford Dells Steering Committee has officially been formed. The Prescott Valley Town Council chose 15 people to serve on the committee. Those 15 came from a pool of 50 volunteers who submitted their names for the committee. The steering committee will help the town council determine the best uses for the proposed Glassford Dells Regional Park. A joint venture between the town, the City of Prescott, and Yavapai County, the park would consist of 3,500 acres of state trust land on and around Glassford Hill. Local and state officials are working together in an attempt to purchase the land.
