PVPD Gets State Accreditation
4/24/23
After going through a two-year process, the Prescott Valley Police Department has earned accreditation through the Arizona Association of Chiefs of Police, Arizona Law Enforcement Accreditation Program. The process assists law enforcement agencies to measure and improve their overall performance and demonstrate that they meet commonly accepted standards. To achieve accreditation, police departments must show proof of compliance with 175 standards. The accreditation program’s board gave excellent reviews on the department’s level of professionalism, hospitality, and overall temperament. PVPD Chief Bob Ticer says this shows the hard work and commitment to professional policing by the men and women in his department.
