Prescott Valley Police Officers will soon be sporting a new piece of equipment. The department will receive 87 body-worn cameras from Axon Enterprises. The town council approved the purchase back in August. This comes after a pilot program was implemented earlier this year in which four officers wore body cameras. Police officials say the body cameras will enhance officer safety and help with the prosecution of criminal cases.
