Rain Hammers Yavapai County

Yavapai County got absolutely drenched Tuesday. According to the County Flood Control District, White Spar Campground received 2.87 inches of rain. Black Canyon City got more than two-and-a-half inches of rain. Goldwater lake had 2.28 inches. Lynx Lake and Sedona both received just over two inches of rain. Prescott Gateway Mall got 1.69 inches. Downtown Prescott, Thumb Butte, and Cordes Junction all had 1.65 inches. Outer Loop Road received an inch-and-a-half of rain. Mayer and Bagdad both got 1.34 inches. Camp Verde had just over an inch of rain. Watson Lake received 0.94 inches. Cottonwood and Willow Lake both got 0.79 inches. Prescott Valley had three-quarters of an inch of rain, and Chino Valley received 0.47 inches of rain. Another wet day is on tap for the Prescott area today with a 70-percent chance of rain and snow.
